Videographer/Drone Camera Pilot
Walter Colby is an Emmy Award-winning photographer who joined Kevin Wing Media+Communications in 2016. He has worked in television news and video production for more than 20 years, Walter’s journalistic career includes his long tenure at KNTV NBC Bay Area. He is also owner and principal of Walter Colby Productions.
Walter employs the latest technology in camerawork, which allows for quick turnaround and delivery to our clients. His high-definition multi-format cameras, and on-site editing capabilities allow for direct input with our clientele when necessary.
A certified and licensed drone pilot, Walter also specializes in aerial photography, using remotely controlled vehicles and HD cameras that allow the capturing of superior quality content of subject matter such as properties (golf courses and real estate) or other environments. With a small agile camera platform mounted on a custom built and quiet aerial vehicle, movie and commercial production needs can be met with an inexpensive and “green” air electric copter. The “CopterCamHD” can take a variety of cameras to altitude and also provide live video transmission. Walter’s work can be seen in many of our client videos, including those for the city of Fremont and Ohlone College.
